Why ancient Egypt flourished

Why did ancient Egypt flourish? There are many different factors that aided ancient Egypts’ expansion, but here are a few I believe helped the most.

I believe the most important reason ancient Egypt flourished is irrigation. This came from The Nile River, which provided the ability to fish, boat, trade, and improve agriculture. Another reason ancient Egypt flourished is also related to its geographical location. The Egyptian desert sand contained valuable metals that could be used for trade, or as currency. This helped ancient Egypt flourish economically. Finally, ancient Egypt flourished because of the surrounding deserts protecting Egyptians from invasion. Enemies would find the Sahara desert to be very hostile; therefore Egypt wasn’t as much of a target as other civilizations.

In conclusion, ancient Egypt flourished because of The Nile, the valuable metals found in the desert, and the surrounding deserts protecting from invasion.
